CHAIRMAN

Mr John Ashworth

John was appointed to the Governing Body in December 2016.  His two sons, Henry and Duncan,

attended Yateley Manor from Nursery to Year 8 and both were Captains of School.

John is firmly of the view that investing in the high quality of education provided by Yateley Manor is one of the best decisions his family made for the children.

John is a Director in local government.  He is married to Debbie and lives in Fleet.

 

 

Mr Paul Cootes

Paul is our newest Governor having been appointed to the Governing Body in October 2020.

Paul spent most of his career in Research and Development developing new products for brands such as Oral B, Aquafresh, Sensodyne, Oil of Olay and Cadbury, during which he enjoyed assignments in both USA and China. In 2015 he switched careers to become a Maths teacher and is currently Head of Year 9 at Wellington College. 

Paul is married to Elizabeth and lives in Church Crookham where they are occasionally joined by their son who is studying at university.

 

 

Mrs Caroline Good

Caroline has recently joined the Governing Board and is delighted to re-establish her connection with the school having had two daughters Harriet (Nursery to Year 6) and Emily (Nursery to Year 8) at Yateley Manor.

Caroline spent 12 years in the Army, followed by a career in Management Consultancy with Pricewaterhousecoopers and BT. She now works as an Interim Manager with various global businesses going through major organisational change.

Caroline is married to James and lives locally in Fleet.

 

 

Mr John Kirkpatrick

John Kirkpatrick attended Yateley Manor from 1973 to 1978.  His sons Tom and Ollie also attended the school between 2008 and 2016.

He has spent most of his career in public service, as a civil servant including in the Departments of Education and Employment and in regulatory roles in other public bodies, with an interlude of a few years working in the private sector as a management consultant and in an education services business.  He currently works at the Competition and Markets Authority in London.

He has previous served as a parent Governor, including as Vice Chair and Chair of Finance, at two other schools.

John is married to Charlotte and lives in Hartley Wintney, where he coaches junior cricket.

 

 

Mrs Angela Richards-Chapman

Angela is pleased to continue being part of the Yateley Manor family and serve on the Board of Governors, as both her sons attended the school from 2011 – 2019.

Angela has spent over 25 years working in IT Consultancy, specialising in Mobile Telecommunications, Energy Generation, Transmission and Cyber Security. In more recent years, Angela’s focus has been on providing consultancy and volunteering for a number of charitable organisations. She has been particularly drawn to those that support disabled and terminally ill adults and children. She has previously served as a trustee for one such organisation.

Angela has a special interest in supporting Yateley Manor's safeguarding initiatives.

 

 

Mrs Melissa Treacher

Melissa spent 12 years working as an Ultrasonographer in the NHS. Her three daughters all attended Yateley Manor between 2008 and 2018,  two of whom were Captain of School. 

Melissa is passionate about ensuring that Yateley Manor continues to provide excellent all round education for all attending pupils.  Melissa is married to Toby and lives in Winchfield.
