St Georges College is a co-educational, independent day school situated near Weybridge in Surrey. The school was founded in 1869 in Croydon by the Roman Catholic Josephite Community and moved to its current site in the beautiful 100-acre parkland setting on Woburn Hill in 1884. St Georges offers a broad based academic education where children are treated as individuals with unique talents and abilities. Our role is to identify and develop these talents by providing them with every opportunity to achieve, whether it is in the classroom, on the sports field or the stage. The co-educational environment of the school helps our students to achieve academically as well as preparing them for the challenges of life at university and in their careers. By promoting our Christian family values we will instill in every student a common respect and tolerance of others. The College currently has 850 boys and girls from 11-18 years old. St Georges College runs an extensive coach service (12 routes including Camberley) and is situated within 5 minutes walk of the railway station and near to Junction 11 on the M25. Entrance to the College: At 13+ entry, students sit a Common Entrance Examination in June. Entry to the Sixth Form (16+) is dependent on students gaining 6 B grades in their GCSEs with at least a B grade in the subjects, which they wish to study at A level.
