Andrew Carter Left YM 1972 update: 10/08
Living in Uckfield, East Sussex, married with 2 boys aged 11 & 14. Started my working career as a trainee chef but then got into print and publishing. Currently taking a few months off to build a house! I was only at Yateley for 3 years and don't have too many memories, other than Mr Blum. Remember one of my friends was Raj Kanwal, but other than that, all a bit of a blur. I do remember the Saturday lunchtime walk to the shops to spend our pocket money - normally on sweets. And then the Sunday afternoon walks to the quarry. |

I now live in Dallas, Texas with my wife, Cecily and three children on a 7 acre ranch style home. I am the President of a family trust and investment bank. I returned to the business after 12 years serving as a Pastor of several churches in Texas.
My brother, Lawrence lives in Guildford and runs a garage of various cars. |

Neil Hughes Left YM 1976 update: 07/04
I am 37, living in Woking with my wife, Carine. We got married this year
(6th June 2004).
Currently working for Cinesite (Europe) Limited (a film visual effects
company based in Soho, London) as their Operations & Facilities Manager.
Previously (and more recently) worked for Mill Film Limited, another
film visual effects company, as their Production Accountant and then
their Facilities & Operations Manager. I was appointed to the Board in
2002, and was also awarded screen credits for the films 'Gladiator' and
'Lara Croft - Tomb Raider'. Unfortunately, the company no longer
continues in film visual effects.
I graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London with a BSc
(Hons) Statistics degree. I then joined a firm of Chartered Accountants
(called Barnes Roffe, based in offices around London) and was an auditor
for 6 or so years.
Still playing football and cricket for Queen Mary College Old Boys FC
and Old Wimbledonians CC respectively. It is rumoured that I play golf
too. |

I left Yateley many years ago when my father was posted back to Australia. My best friend was Inkster - does anyone remember me? I have many fond memories of my childhood in the UK. I have since lived in the US, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. I have graduated with B.Arts, and an MBA, and have worked as a merchant banker, bond analyst, and corporate strategist - more interesting than it may sound! Does anyone have any records relating to 1971? If so, please make contact. |
