Lots of children join Yateley Manor between Years 3 and 6. For this reason our transition and pastoral arrangements are exceptional. Children feel welcomed very quickly when they join the school.

Classes in Years 3 and 4 are in their own section of the school where all the classrooms are closely linked to each other. Children have the extra benefit of being able to access not only all the facilities of the School but also the dedicated Art, French and Music rooms in our superb new facility, Manor Place.  We actively encourage participation in sports and the children in Years 3 and 4 will begin to participate in inter-school matches, including match tea.

Within the Year 3 and 4 environment, our aim is to provide children with school days full of new experiences, exciting learning and a huge number of activities and extra-curricular clubs. We strive to create a fun, hands-on learning experience for every child. These range from a visit to an ancient Celtic farm to a Roman legionnaire putting the children through their paces. The children will enjoy creating and cooking recipes linked to an Indian topic and experiencing a visit to a Hindu temple as part of the cross curriculum approach.

We endeavour to develop happy, confident children with a love for learning celebrating their individual achievements and talents, whilst nurturing areas that need developing. By adopting this philosophy, children are encouraged to become independent, confident individuals, ready and able to embrace the next phase of their learning journey here at Yateley Manor.

Come and take a look inside the creative, nurturing and vibrant learning environment for girls and boys here in Years 3 and 4!
