Tuesday:  Year 8 have arrived safely and are settled in their camp.


Tuesday evening:  The children are around the campfire after settling into the camp and lots of running around.  Much laughter and singing!  Bolognese for dinner shortly.  Everyone really looking forward to coasteering tomorrow.

Wednesday Morning:  The children really enjoyed their full English breakfast.  It is still wet but everyone is in excellent spirits and very excited about going coasteering later this morning.  

Wednesday Afternoon:   Year 8 had an excellent morning of coasteering and then returned to camp for lunch around the camp fire before learning some bushcraft skills this afternoon.  Everyone is fine and happy.

Thursday morning - Year 8 enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes.  They are now mackrel fishing in Swanage Bay and will set off later for fun at the water park.  Some rain but spirits are high.

Thursday evening: Year 8 have had a great day. They caught plenty of mackerel this morning during their fishing trip and this afternoon had a lot of fun at the water park. Everyone in great spirits. They are now back at camp.


Friday morning:  Year 8 have broken camp now, tidied up and walking to Studland Beach for a morning of beach games and a BBQ.

It was wet overnight though this morning it is dry, but overcast. Everyone tired but in good spirits. Cereal, toast, croissant and pain au chocolate for breakfast before setting off.

Planned departure time is 2.30pm
