Nursery

 

We know that you want the best possible start for your child, so the innovative and nurturing atmosphere in our Nursery provides a secure, gentle introduction to school life. Children quickly settle into this homely environment and soon realise that learning is fun.

 

The focus is on active, play-based learning and children keenly engage in creative play, singing songs, role-play and story time. The Nursery is situated in an attractive, purpose-built secure building with bright, well-equipped rooms and a large and imaginatively designed outside play area.

 

With the support of inspirational staff, your child will develop a love of school, become sociable and confident, and eager for their next adventure in Reception.

 

 

The Early Years team are warm and welcoming and children love the bright, lively classrooms. Here children start to acquire the essential skills in literacy and numeracy, and are exposed to many exciting opportunities and activities to enhance their learning experience.

 

While the Nursery and Reception classes broadly follow Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines, our creative and independent approach adds so much more to the educational experience.
