Progressing through the School
Moving from Reception to Years 1 and 2 is an exciting time as children’s horizons begin to expand with growing independence and self-confidence.
We build firm foundations
We build firm foundations through our stimulating and creative learning programme. From Nursery to Year 4, children are class taught by Primary specialists, with additional expertise offered in Music, French, PE and Games. These subject areas, together with Chess, broaden the curriculum experience significantly.
Children move up naturally to the Prep School at 7 years of age, and the new school day is full and active, both inside and outside the classroom, with Food Technology in our superb facility, now a part of the timetabled curriculum.
Subject specialists teach all children from Year 5 onwards, making the most of their in-depth knowledge and wealth of experience in their individual subject areas.
