Family Atmosphere

A unique and supportive family atmosphere

Your child’s first day at Yateley Manor is the beginning of an exciting new partnership between you, your child and the school. Pupils are encouraged to share their experiences, and there is always someone to talk to should they need support in any way.

There are regular opportunities for parents to talk with teachers, but in between these scheduled meetings, our doors are always open for you to come in and discuss progress or concerns.

The unique relationship between children, teachers and support staff is one of the great strengths of Yateley Manor. Parents are actively encouraged to have close contact with class teachers and tutors, and regular parents’ evenings are organised. The combination of our school newsletter INAMOS, home/school diaries and emails keep parents informed and our website is an excellent source of information.

The School Day

The school day begins calmly with a morning assembly or with form tutors. This lays the foundation for a happy and purposeful day. Lunch is in the main school hall and children have a tremendous choice of healthy food which changes daily.

Form tutors play a key role in children’s life at school, keeping a watchful eye on all aspects of pastoral and academic development. Your child’s social and emotional welfare is just as important as educational achievement – one will not flourish without the other.
