Mr Stephen Gorys
Stephen was appointed to the Governing Body in October 2006 and regularly attends the school and meetings as needed.
As well as being a successfully retired businessman he is a district councillor, a Mental Health Act Manager, Business Mentor and Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader. With a wide range of skills and interests, Stephen was elected as the Chairman of Governors in October 2012.
Both Stephen’s children (Emily and Thomas) attended Yateley Manor from Year 3 to Year 8 and Emily became School Captain. Always keen to be involved with the school, Stephen sits on the Finance and Strategy sub-committees.
Mr John Ashworth
John was appointed to the Governing Body in December 2016. His two sons, Henry and Duncan, attended Yateley Manor from Nursery to Year 8 and both were Captains of School.
John is firmly of the view that investing in the high quality of education provided by Yateley Manor is one of the best decisions his family made for the children.
John is a Director in local government. He is married to Debbie and lives in Fleet.
Mrs Jackie Davies
Jackie, coming from deputy headship of a day and boarding school for pupils aged 4 to 18 in Norfolk, took the position of Deputy Head at Lord Wandsworth College just over 5 years ago. She is responsible for the academic timetable, external examinations and leads on ISI compliance and preparation for inspections.
Jackie is married to Brian and has two children who attend Lord Wandsworth College.
Mrs Caroline Good
Caroline has recently joined the Governing Board and is delighted to re-establish her connection with the school having had two daughters Harriet (Nursery to Year 6) and Emily (Nursery to Year 8) at Yateley Manor.
Caroline spent 12 years in the Army, followed by a career in Management Consultancy with Pricewaterhousecoopers and BT. She now works as an Interim Manager with various global businesses going through major organisational change.
Caroline is married to James and lives locally in Fleet.
Mr john Kirkpatrick
John Kirkpatrick attended Yateley Manor from 1973 to 1978. His sons Tom and Ollie also attended the school between 2008 and 2016.
He has spent most of his career in public service, as a civil servant including in the Departments of Education and Employment and in regulatory roles in other public bodies, with an interlude of a few years working in the private sector as a management consultant and in an education services business. He currently works at the Competition and Markets Authority in London.
He has previous served as a parent Governor, including as Vice Chair and Chair of Finance, at two other schools.
John is married to Charlotte and lives in Hartley Wintney, where he coaches junior cricket.
Mr Tom Li
Tom is a solicitor specialising in Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Property Law.
Having been an Associate Partner with a Legal 100 Firm, Tom then established in partnership and is now a Consultant Solicitor with a firm based in Camberley.
Tom has been a Governor of a local state primary school since 2012 and took up the appointment as a Director of the school’s Academy Trust in 2014.
His children’s love of music and their strive to learn is to Yateley Manor’s credit. James attended between 2002 to 2012 and Amy from 2008 to 2016.
Mrs Elisabeth Noble
Liz Noble is a Chartered Accountant specialising in personal tax, corporate tax and business development at Butt Miller in Camberley. Liz is delighted to have been invited to join the Board of Governors and to renew her family’s association with the school. Liz’s sons, Andrew attended Yateley Manor from 2002 (Year 3) to 2008 (Year 8) and Jonathan from 2005(Nursery) to 2016 (Year 8) with both boys flourishing in the nurturing and encouraging environment provided by the school to become confident and accomplished young adults.
Inspirational teachers and role models for the boys at Yateley Manor has impacted on the Noble family life to the extent that in her spare time Liz sits on the Executive Committee of Camberley Rugby Club with the sponsorship, fundraising and communications portfolio, squad managing the U6 and U15 squads and after years of standing on the side-lines watching Jonathan, has even started to play Touch Rugby. Liz is married to Martyn and lives near Camberley.
Mrs Tracy Squirrell
Tracy is a consultant, facilitator, business and leadership coach. Since 1996 she has owned and managed Values into Practice, working with individuals and teams towards the achievement of their corporate and personal goals. Prior to this she had an eleven-year career in the airline industry in various roles including Ground Service leadership, HR, Training and Organisational Development.
Tracy is passionate about supporting young people in developing life skills. She regularly attends the school and facilitates workshops with pupils in Years 6 to 8 helping them explore their intention and impact; thereby increasing their awareness and choice.
Tracy lives in Fleet and is married with one son. Her son attended Yateley Manor between 2006-2013.
